Larry Gue

     Larry has a passion for people “to know Christ and to make Him known.”  He desires to see believers grow in their knowledge and walk with Christ.

     Larry was saved and baptized at the age of 12 in an old fashioned, Gospel preaching church.  He surrendered to preach the Gospel in November 1980 and was ordained and licensed as a Minister of the Gospel at Anchor Baptist Church, Alabama in 1981.  He was called as Pastor of Somerville Baptist Church, Al. in 1982.  After moving to Florida, he was called as Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in 1994.  In 1998 he took a short term mission trip to the country of Mongolia and there he felt the call of God to the mission field of Mongolia.  During 2002 to 2005 he also served as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Bible Church, Fl.  He has since served as Director and President of Mongolia Ministries, Inc. while serving as a Missionary to the people of Mongolia for 17 years.  August 2014 he was asked to serve as Interim Pastor to High Shoals Baptist Church, Ga. 

     Larry graduated from Damascus High School, Maryland in 1959.  He attended the University of Maryland and Montgomery College in Maryland.  He pursued Biblical studies at Moody Bible Institute and pastoral studies at Bethel Bible College, Al.

     Larry and Ann have been married for over 50 years.  They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.  Romans 10:13 is his favorite verse and his life verses are Proverbs 3: 5, 6.
